Mandala means ‘circle’ in Sanskrit. In Hinduism and Buddhism, it is a spiritual and ritual symbol that represents the universe. Life is never-ending and everything is connected, is symbolized by the circles in this. Mandalas have been used for meditating purposes for ages, but apart from that, it serves other purposes too.
